If your magicJack device is connected to a Windows based computer:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Right-click on the speaker icon in the lower right-hand corner of the Windows tooltray<\/li>\n
  2. Select\u00a0Playback devices<\/strong>. A new window will open.<\/li>\n
  3. Right-click on\u00a0Handset<\/strong>\u00a0(USB Internet Phone by TigerJet)<\/li>\n
  4. Select\u00a0Set as Default Communication Device<\/strong><\/li>\n
  5. Click\u00a0OK<\/strong><\/li>\n
  6. Retest phone for dial tone<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    If the issue persists:<\/p>\n

    1. Right-click on the speaker icon in the lower right-hand corner of the Windows tooltray<\/li>\n
    2. Select\u00a0Playback devices<\/strong>. A new window will open<\/li>\n

    4. Select\u00a0Properties<\/strong><\/li>\n
    5. Navigate to the\u00a0Levels<\/strong>\u00a0tab, and ensure the speaker icon is unmuted<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
