To help address the growing amount of fraudulent robocalls, magicJack has implemented SHAKEN\/STIR caller authentication technology that uses industry-wide call verification standards. SHAKEN\/STIR intends to combat caller ID spoofing which is used by robocallers to mask their identity or to make it appear the call is from a legitimate source. Calls that come into the magicJack network that cannot be verified using the SHAKEN\/STIR standards may be blocked.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
